Especially the one that says what leap year is a bad year? (I know in some cultures it is a lucky year)

I am because it was always a bad years for my family. We lost our relatives in these years and other bad things are happening way more often in these years.
I'm so tired right now because right after you trying to rest - here's another problem, deal with it!

My family doesn't have a good health, my cat is sick and we don't know how exactly heal him, and right now I found out my lil lizard probaly broke her leg.

I don't know, I just loosing all my energy at this year. Feel so broken. Do you have something similar?

I do, but at the same time, I do not. =\

I do though believe this was a 'bad' year. Horrible actually. (I cried when a special anime/gaming con was cancelled. Cried my little heart out.)

I'm trying to keep positive though! I have 2 1-day cons to go to, and one 2-day con to go to this year. In October and December. Hopefully they won't cancel. :<

I'm sorry to hear about your family :( I hope your lizard and cat recover! This year has really sucked the life out of me, every day I wake up and see the news and wish I hadn't even bothered, but I'm trying to stay positive, I think it'll get better with time!

To answer your questions: I believe in some superstitions, even though a lot of them are silly ones, like "don't walk under ladders" and "don't open umbrellas indoors." I've never heard of the leap year one you spoke about, but now I'm inclined to believe it haha.

Another superstition I believe in is that tipping over a saltshaker is bad luck. I don't know why, but every time I knock one over, I have this "oh no" moment

I think with this virus everyone will believe what leap year is bad year hah. I wish it all end soon.

Never heard about umbrella one, interesting! Ladders and salt - yeah, we have the same too.

I'm mostly believe in some we have: "don't show on yourself (other's problems/injury)", "knock on wood/spit three times over your shoulder if you don't want to jynx it". It's kinda silly but... hah

@ForestCactus I'm sorry you've been going through so much, and I wish your family and pets a quick recovery :(

I follow some superstitions by habit because of my mom. For example, I grew up being told I can't open an umbrella inside the house or walk under ladders. I thought it was a safety thing but it turned out to be my mom always following these rules "just in case." Other things include knocking on wood to not jinx something, and not to touch anyone with the bristles of the broom.

I don't really believe in them but it makes her feel more secure and it's not hurting anyone so I follow along!
