Has anyone here watched this "delightful" movie?

why must you dredge up these cursed memories

I... I'm pretty sure I saw it in the theater as a kid and it scared me

I had a VHS tape of it when I was a kid. I was absolutely horrified of it, especially near the end where the house becomes a nightmarish funhouse. The entire movie gave me an uneasy feeling. A sense of dread almost. I still get bad feelings about the movie.

this movie has the most powerful chaotic evil energy i've ever encountered

I thought it was funny. Not because I thought it was good, but because it was so terribly, terribly awful.

Funny enough, it was plain ol' Alec Baldwin out of all the wacky elements of this movie that bothered me the most. I still think of purple goop every time I see him.

I don’t know why exactly, but I remember I REALLY wanted to watch it when it first came out. I was pretty young, around seven when it came out, and my parents and I watched it at some point not long after it came out.

My mom hated it and still does, I don’t remember what my dad thought about it or what I thought about it, though I have rewatched it a couple of times since. I think it’s really creepy and weird now. I’ll never see the Cat in the Hat the same way again.
