TOPIC | Do people say you sleep weird?

All the time, I'm told I sleep weird. I get plenty of sleep sleeping the way I do, and that's all that really matters, but do y'all get told you sleep weird?

For context, I have this long, fuzzy pillow. It's not as long as a body-pillow, more the length of my torso. I lay on my side, hugging this pillow and resting the side of my face on it, and I lay next to my bedside table. On this table is my fan, and I leave it running at night. Then, I sleep with a blanket over my head, wrapped up like a cocoon with only my face exposed. It's comfortable, too!

Yes. I sometimes sleep with my blanket over my head, which came from a habit of doing it from a house I used to live in riddled with spiders, so I’d cover my head with my blanket so they would’t crawl on my face.

Sleep? What is this sleep you speak of?
Actually, yes, but only because I’ve inherited contortionist joints. I bend my knees backwards.

Yeah. A lot of the time, I'm drowning in stuffed animals or sleeping on my stomach with my face firmly mushed in my pillow(yes i can breathe). If not that, there's a pillow on each side of me,because, for some unknown reason,I feel cosmically uncomfy when there's like;; nothing behind me? Like I hate the empty space when I sleep?

[/quote] @PeachTeaLatte I kinda get that, but for me it was because I was so used to sleeping on a couch most of my life (didn't matter if I was at mom's house, dad's house or my grandparents, if I wasn't in the hospital or spending the night at a friend's place, I was on a couch) and the transition to having my own bed finally when I was older was very odd to me. To this day, I still have to arrange pillows just so or I feel slightly uncomfortable.

My fiance swears I sleep funny because I like to curl up into a little ball and often jab him with my knees. He blames me sleeping on a twin-size bed previously, but I just don't like to be lying flat.

I make a blanket coccoon oftentimes! It's the only way I can sleep comfortably. Hence, I don't sleep well in the summer time, where my coccoon isn't feasible... (my partner complains I steal all the blankets... I try not to though!)

i've never had anyone actually tell me that i sleep weird but i think i do. if i'm not sleeping on my stomach, i'm on my side with one or both knees pulled towards my body, and my arms crossed over my chest with the blanket in my fist, pulled over my face. usually i just have the top of my head poking out. c:

nah they probably think that but usually say something like "why are you here, how did you get inside my house" and "where did you get all this bread and ready whip from" or "get out of my kitchen cabinet you weird rat person" people are so inconsiderate to those who just want to rest in peace [emoji=spiral deadpan size=1]
