It doesn't have to be your current living space. It could be a place you think of as a home-away-from-home, or a public place that makes you feel at home, or a memory or dream of home if you can't find home right now.
For me, home is where I can hear the crickets and frogs at night and where the nights are dark. Home is quiet (aside from the insects), and it has books and jasmine tea. But I miss college-home sometimes even though it was bright and noisy because I had a community there. My dream home would have the crickets and the community both.
I'm just curious about what everyone else thinks of as home.

hmm. honestly anywhere I feel safe? I'm really into small cozy places- so places like my bed, or my horses stall while he eats dinner.
My dream home is frankly like, a smaller home in the country side where I can have animals + live with my loved ones. I don't need a tiny home persay, but as a disabled person a multi level, very large house would be too much to handle. like my ideal is a cabin or a hobbit hole, all one level (or at least with very easy to climb stairs), warm color pallet, lots of terrariums (I keep reptiles, and would like to have them all in gorgeous vivariums). Small kitchen because I don't cook much, a decent computer set up, yanno. I don't actually like lots of windows via light sensitivity but it would be cool if I could see my outdoor pets from them- like at the least I want to have chickens, at most some of just about every live stock animal.

i imagine it as a small countryside home thats secluded enough that the property can't be seen from the road. close enough to a city for day trips but far enough to avoid noise/light pollution and hopefully urban sprawl. i want the house itself to be just big enough and have just enough stuff to support me, no clutter. i would have my piano in the living room and actually get to play it without worrying about being heard. also a cat or two of course. if i had the land/energy id also be interested in chickens and maybe sheep for the wool. ive thought about this a lot lol
