I’m not a PlayStation person but preorders opened suddenly for the PlayStation 5 today and I wanted to know if anyone here knew or actually managed to snag one?

Also knock yourselves out talking about anything PS5 you want here.

And I’m sorry for any of you who have undoubtedly missed out on one of you wanted to preorder it..

There's a PlayStation 5???? Goodness, I need to pay attention to this stuff.
I just looked up when PlayStation 4 came out and apparently it was 2013. I feel like I just got one. I feel so old...

[/quote] Oh boy well my Xbox is from 2014 and I’m hoping beyond hope to preorder the next Xbox but looking at how the PS5 is selling out so fast I really doubt I’ll be getting one...

Imho I think the PS5 looks weird same with the new Xbox the thing looks like a computer modem my friend might get the PS5 but I'm happy with my good old PS4.

And then there's me over here with just my two PS2s... 6_6;;

is launch still limited to 6 million consoles or did they get around that weird shortage? i'd totally buy if not for the $500 price tag and the potential that i wouldn't be in the first 6mil to get one.

I plan to wait a long time before getting mine. Probably sometime next spring or summer. I need to save up. :v

I wasn't gonna bother to get one until they have bundle discounts sometime in the next few years. With the way the economy is going I don't have the money to burn on full price Luxury Items. [emoji=coatl sad size=1]

I'm just so mad. Sony said tomorrow, I believed that. Wal-Mart basically said screw it and all other stores jumped on the bandwagon...

I was close to getting one through Best Buy, but right when I got to the payment page (after sitting through an hour of constantly refreshing) I got the confirmation that they were sold out.

Only hope is Amazon or an email directly from Sony. I'm saying up to watch Amazon, and I'm just hoping Sony likes me. I'm pretty dedicated to PlayStation, so maybe the reputation will help.

This whole thing was a mess. I don't entirely blame Sony. It was supposed to be a little more organized, until the franchises couldn't keep their patience.

I'm just tired and upset. I should have known something was going to happen instead of things sticking to the plan. I'm really just pouring hope and my heart out into Amazon or Sony to pull through for me. I know it's just a console, but even still, I've been planning around this and have been prepared for a long time now. I'd really hate to get screwed over into waiting months and months longer just because Wal-Mart wanted to get a jumpstart on the cash influx coming in..

especially during a crisis where i can't seek work
hell no i literally bought the ps4 last yeah X'C
just to find there's a five geez man wished they'd released it sooner would have got it instead oh well
thinking i might get the slim model when it arrives they are usually much cheaper and give me time to save up but im not sure yet
don't know if all my games will work on it or how data transfer works
whether i keep my ps4 and ps5 separate playing respective games on each
or transfer it all to ps5 and sell my ps4

not sure,im mid-way to saving for a gaming pc and tbh not expecting ps5 just yet
woke up at 6am to watch the expo it was hype
but with this whole disaster i don't know my standing
