ive been feeling kinda down recently, and i wanna see some cool stuff! tell me about or show me your hobbies! it can be something you collect like rocks or trinkets, or something you do like crafts or dancing. just something you do for the enjoyment of it and because you like doing it.

I really enjoy drawing! I find it to be relaxing and it's fun to make stuff and share it with other people!

I like sewing,and I'm making a long furby :)

I knit, and have been for around 20 years! Currently working on a shawl, and a sweater, but they're both really big projects that'll take time. Last sweater took almost two years to make, but that's mostly because my life did fall apart a few times in the process of making it.

I also enjoy writing, but tend to get myself stuck in bigger projects that are difficult to finish. I've considered taking up fanfic writing as a way to give myself something smaller to chew on instead of my smallest project being a novella.

I do everything BUT drawing.

I sew, I knit, I do jewelry, I play with resin, I solder, I crochet, I mold, I...I just do a lot of freaking stuff to keep me busy.

My favorite thing to do is sew though. I do it for a living, as well as for fun. I make everything from little pencil pouches, to elaborate cosplay costumes. It is a great joy for me to do, and I couldn't imagine myself doing anything but sewing for a job right now. My second favorite thing to do is play with UV resin. :> I love playing with fun bezels, and making all sorts of colors with my inks, it's such a fun hobby, and I've been doing it for a good while now. (I'd like to say I've gotten pretty good, but I can't really gauge myself. :x )

I also have a small hobby of building computers. Yeah, very odd hobby, but my cousin always asks me and my dad to build him one, and it's grand fun especially if it's super expensive stuff that's new to work with. It's a good challenge.

I recently started painting Warhammer miniatures. :> I like painting rocks to hide around town also.

• Reading. My largest hobby. I have a subscription to Scribd, and boy do I get my money's worth. My goal every year is to read at least 100 books.
• Writing. Planning on attempting NaNoWriMo again this year! I most write epic fantasy or Dungeons and Dragons things, but I'm trying to get back into freeform roleplay with my husband. XD
• Music. I used to sing a LOT, but I got a throat infection that left me unable to sing high notes anymore. I'm still trying to regain my range, though. And, of course, I live on Spotify. XD
• Shopping. My GODS do I love shopping. I consistently think that having a job in procurement would be a dream come true. XD
• Knitting. I have too much yarn. Mostly because my grandmother gave hers away to the grandkids and that was mostly me. XD I'm currently knitting a shawl, and it's going to look SO COOL then I'm done. AHHHH
• Sewing. I'm not making anything right this moment, but my last few projects were quilts as xmas gifts. I learned quite a bit in the process, and I hope to make more someday. I also want to make costumes for myself, but my weight is in flux a lot and I want to make something I can wear more than once. >_>
• General Crafting. I like to paint dollar store boxes with cool characters or designs from games and such. I like building things like Warhammer miniatures or cardboard models/masks. I like forming clay into neat things. I like collage and stickers. XD
• Video Games. The love of my life. My favorite games are Skyrim/Oblivion, Fallout 3/4, Mass Effect (any), Dragon Age (again, any), and similar games. I also enjoy tactics games like Final Fantasy Tactics or FellSeal, and real time story games (don't know the actual genre) like Baldur's Gate or Tyranny.
• Tabletop RPGs. DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS IS WHERE IT'S AT. Srsly, I can't get enough. I play and DM. I also enjoy other systems, D&D is just my favorite, especially 3.5e <3. World of Darkness comes in second, and I prefer classic/old world.
• Mini War Gaming. WARHAMMER 40K. I almost exclusively play Chaos (marines and daemons), but I'm thinking of getting into Sisters of Battle as well. Love me some bad-*** women. XD
• Programming. I went to college for web development, but I didn't really stick with it. I do love to actually DO programming, though. Applications, websites, games, etc. I'm not the best at it, but it's so much fun to make something work.
• Making Games! I'm currently working on a board game and a visual novel, and I have an idea for a Fire Emblem-eque game as well. I just wish I has artist friends to work with. DX

I animate!!!! I'm majoring in animation but it's one of the things that makes me extremely happy!!!

I also sew, sing and play dnd!!

I read, write fanfics, do plastic canvas crafts, and play Pathfinder.

Not as cool as most of this stuff, but as I collect a lot of action figures and replicas, I like to constantly rearrange my display shelves. I have themed shelves, some very specific (like "Star Wars" or "Power Rangers") and some more general (like "Sci-Fi", "Fantasy" or "Superheroes"), and one shelf that is just random favorite things.

And my girlfriend and her sister have got a bunch of figure stands for me, so instead of merely standing the figures upright on their own, I can do "action" poses and scenes, like having a Jedi vs Sith battle with certain figures held up as if hovering or leaping, or posing superhero teams with those that fly higher than those that do not (and Spider-Man can be posed upside down as if hanging from a web).

Now once we move, I'm tempted to invest in some of those cardboard diorama scenes and start photographing them. A few of my online friends do this and I've gotten a lot of tips on good light boxes and where to find little scene accessories and such without overpaying.
