Anyone else around here listen to it? We're currently in the middle of the fifth and final season and I have zero clue what to expect at this point omg, every Thursday a new episode hits me like a brick to the gut.
My favorite characters are easily Jon himself (I actually relate to him a lot, I'm even currently working on a fandragon!) and the Distortion (I love both Michael and Helen to death and, as someone with ADHD, various other mental illnesses, and a deep appreciation for surreal aesthetics, I vibe heavily with the Spiral as a whole).
As for anyone unaware, The Magnus Archives is an amazing horror podcast about an institute that takes statements from folks on the street about their paranormal experiences, and with the mysterious death of the previous archivist of the Magnus Institute, it's up to Jonathan Sims to organize the archives and take statements. It starts out just seeming like a horror anthology, each episode consisting of a statement being read aloud by Jon as well as any follow-up comments from him (and later some actual Plot), but each statement has some detail or another that all connects to a far greater horror than anyone realizes.

The Spiral is pretty cool as well, but I'm afraid Vast takes the top spot for me. I also think The Stranger is pretty neat.
My least favorite is probably... Flesh. Eww, I hate it so much, the visual images is a big no.
Oh gosh yeah the Flesh squicks me out so bad.
By all intents and purposes I generally classify the Corruption as my worst fear considering how much I just mentally shut down at anything "gross" and indigestion/nausea can send me into panic attacks, but I've yet to skip a single Corruption statement while I've skipped two Flesh statements and almost skipped the latest one with the factory.
Like, I enjoy body horror, but I think my sense of it leans a lot more toward the Spiral and Stranger. You lose me with cannibalism, in-depth descriptions of rotting meat, and cold mechanical slaughterhouses.

I definitely vibe hardest with the Spiral and the Vast. Least favorites are probably the Flesh (which makes me just plain nauseated) and the Buried (which as a claustrophobe hits way too close to home). Not a huge fan of the Desolation either
