Look, I want to acknowledge that I absolutely understand that this show has a ton of problematic elements and that the fandom was responsible for some absolutely horrendous things.
That being said, there's no denying that it was a dominating hyperfixation of mine for a good five years and the impact it had on my life was indescribable. I'm honestly thrilled that it's coming back. How about y'all?

I remember watching lots of videos on it, got a bracelet, and have season 5 on DVD (The one that came with stickers and a bandana) I got into it idk... I wanna say before The Beautiful World season was released.

..i still love hetalia. i adored it for years as a kid, and i actually binged it all with my friend. it's so stupid i love it. i wasn't super involved in the fandom but ive heard snippets of whats happened unfortunately
anyway i saw it on amazon the other day but i wasn't sure if it was an actual new season based on its dying fanbase and such. but its actually coming back?? i've genuinely never been this excited for a show coming back i

Listen. I got into Hetalia back in 2009 and it was my life for a while; I made some good friends, and even tho I am not into it anymore I still help run our local Hetalia Day, 11 years and counting. Maybe I will try and get back into it now that it is coming back, but like, being in the fandom in the early days I know how bad the fandom got and some of the problematic things that happened, so I am prepared for the worst if this gets a ton of new fans.

I was pretty into it for a few years, even cosplayed for halloween once. But never really interacted with the fandom, so whatever terrible things they did I had luckily missed all of it. Worst stuff I'd stumble upon were a couple of crappy fanfics.
Aaand now the theme song is stuck in my head again
