Thread Info:

This Halloween, I decided to make a special hub for a series held very close to my heart: Silent Hill. It is known as one of the most influential horror series in the gaming category -and it's also a personal favorite! X3 I designed this hub for personal satisfaction and enjoyment, as well as for Silent Hill players,(or fans of the series in general) to discuss anything Silent Hill related (well, anything within FR's rule base of course). Here, you can meet other players, share fanart/screenshots, gain helpful tips, and much more. I may even host fanart/fandragon challenges if this thread picks up enough interest :)

Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions/suggestions -as you can probably already tell, I. Love. Pyramid Head.

Bless you for this thread, one of my favourite series of all time. Hard for me to pick a favourite game, but Heather and Murphy are probably the lead characters I like the most.

How we feeling about the rumours of a new Silent Hill been made by members of the original Silent Hill team? It's been floating around a few months now but so far no confirmation it exists, but I do believe the people insisting it's real have a proven track record for been correct in the past. I really hope it's true.

@BladeDancer Thanks lol It's my absolute favorite in the horror category :)

Feeling....hopeful. Would be cool if they keep the third-person perspective (not looking for another ''New Resident Evil'' on this; also not looking for a ''telltale'' game). I can say that, it's definitely a big plus if it is indeed being developed by the original team (I really hope that Akira will be a part of it too). Just wish we had some ''official'' news on it X3

@Firefly15

Yeah, I really hope if it turns out true it's a third person style. I'm not really a fan of the newer Resident Evils going first person, I wish they'd kept it to the side games instead of the mainline ones.

Akira at the very least needs to be involved! One of the things I started to really look forward to with a new release was the new Akira and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn songs.

I'm just really hoping we get a trailer with those familiar guitar riffs soon.

@BladeDancer Same here; and I do also love the RE series but, the newest ones have seemed a little wacky and off-course to me (would be good as independent games but, they just don't feel like Resident Evil).

Indeed! I love the guitar riffs specifically (and pretty much everything I hear by himX3), and Mary has a great voice :)
