i've been nonstop playing this masterpiece and i'm looking for other people to talk about it with :')
i don't mind spoilers (i've beaten both the main storyline and the epilogues) but it would be nice to spoiler tag just in case someone still playing happens upon this thread!
so...starting question, i suppose:
favorite weapon (& maybe aspect?) and favorite type of boon?

I love hades! Although I admit I didn't make it far in the game because I'm terrible at it. I ended up watching the ending. But man is it a sweet ending. ;u;

when i first started out i couldnt even break out of tartarus until a few days later
i got very stubborn so eventually i beat it
but man, the ending
the first clear hit me hard, with zagreus and persephone being so upset at the realization he couldn't stay on the surface for long...but they were still hopeful. i still have the feels

It broke my heart. Although I do find it funny how eventually they get so used to him dying they're just like "Peace see you later, mom. I'll be back in a little bit."[/spoiler]

you've also seen the 8th clear, right?

it tore me in two when persephone told zagreus not to see her again and all he did was weakly protest as he got claimed by the styx. when he got even more determined to go back i felt it in my soul
honestly if it were just a greek-themes rouge-like it would've been an amazing game but the characters and the story make it a masterpiece
hades is game of the year in my heart

I saw up to the point where she goes back to hades and they get a family portrait and it's rly sweet. Is there content after that too?

And yeah, I agree it would've been a great game even without the amazing characters but man. The characters just take it to a whole 'nother level. And the story <3. It totally got robbed of GOTY IMO. It will also be GOTY in my heart lol.

Hmmm they're all pretty great but Zagreus is probably my fave. Followed by Cerberus most likely hahaha. Although I LOVE Nyx's design.

who doesnt love zagreus himbo biicon although honest thoughts: his first impression is some kind of jerk or brat but they you realize he's only a brat towards his father and soft and kind to everyone else and he's so lovable close second for me is thanatos [s]because its thanatos[/s] his development with zagreus just makes me go...[emoji=heart size=1] he cares and doesnt want zagreus to get hurt, but tries not to show it, then realizes he can show that he cares and he comes around more often (i see thanatos a lot more after i forged his bond then before i did) + today i got really good dialogue between him and hypnos where he admits he's been a little mean with how he talks to hypnos but loves him and asks for forgiveness
