Spoilers for Daft Punk, i guess?

I JUST SAW THE VIDEO, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT I AM SO SAD NOW ;_; ;_; LIKE GENUENLY. I have never actually been sad about a band ending/breaking up or whatever, before :(

I haven't heard about the news of them breaking apart, but sometimes bands gotta end. Daft Punk has existed for a long while of what I could remember, since 1993 I believe. I wasn't born when they formed, but was still born where their music was relevant so it was neat to hear these type of songs. Nowadays isn't my favorite but for others has a meaning to them.

Do wish for you the best if you're still sad about this news. We can all be grateful about the music at least, just like the rest of the bands.

@cordifolium They take credit for shaping my taste in music today. As a teenager with very little access to music back in the mid 2000s ( lived in a rural area with dial up internet, what can ya do? ), discovering Daft Punk is what gave me my taste in music & want to explore other genres today.

I'm terribly sad to see them go, I'm especially shocked that I legit cried for about an hour, lmao.

'Hold on, if love is the answer, you're home' will forever have a massive impact on my life & I'm glad these are the words they left us with.

I never really listened to Daft Punk except in passing, but I always absolutely loved their stage personas and I know their music is super beloved to so many people. It definitely gives me second-hand sadness, ha. I never realized just how long they were around until now. I'll miss seeing news about them!

I am glad to know other people have genuinely connected with their music. I get all emotional going through twitter right now and seeing people's reactions

I wasn't alive when they formed but discovered them back when they released Random Access Memories in 2013, and have been listening to all their music since then.

and that line is just so raw ;_; i am listening to touch on repeat now as welt. Touch and Contact have a very special place in my heart haha

@cordifolium I spammed my twitter feed so I'm sure my few mutuals are just logging on to a bombarded love wall of Daft Punk LOL! It's really been nice to see all the love they had, from fans to people who worked with them! Biggest respect to them, I'll miss'em.

I'm glad you're feeling a little better & I can say I am too. I've been doing the same, just listening to their music, appreciating their sound, & just trying to smile for them. I'm happy that they created a path to so many people who appreciated their work!

I also hope that maybe they'll go on producing music like they did for Tron Legacy. 8')
