Cyndaquil is my all time favorite fire starter but I really love the typing of Rowlet so it’ll be a tough pick between the two! Since we didn’t get a new region, I’m assuming there’ll be no new pokemon so I have a small hope that we may get the national pokedex but who knows.

Since it looks like you'll be able to catch all gen 4 starters in Legends anyway, I actually really like the choice to bring in Pokemon from other regions. It's an interesting departure from the norm.
So far all we know is that it's open world and based on feudal Sinnoh, which is already an incredibly interesting premise. Nothing on the plot really, except that Arceus is going to be involved somehow. I can't wait to get more information about it!

Oshawott and Rowlett though seem so far out of left field but I'm definitely curious to see how they're tied in from a lore perspective. I chose Totodile in my Johto games but I love Cynda. As for Oshawott and Rowlett I chose those in their respective games so it's a hard choice either way aaa
