The pembroke is the more popular Corgi with a short docked tail. The Cardigan is the older line of corgi, with a longer tail. I'm personally more found of the Cardigan. To clarify, not all Pembroke Corgis have their tale docked, some are born with natural short bob tails. But I agree the practice of docking the Pembroke Corgi's born with longer tails for breed conformity is kind of cruel.

I am not. lol, but we do share an ancestor, much like 25% of Britain, and a fair portion of people with Norman ancestry.

I honestly don't have a preference. My family has owned both Pems and Cardis, so to us, corgis are corgis and we love pretty much everything corgi.
