are you up for a 2d platformer thats also hard bc i got donkey kong country tropical freeze in february and im still obsessed with it to say the least! its so fun im in the process of completing it in hard mode! theres plenty of content too
it does cost 60 dollars though and hardly goes on sale.... but it was worth it in my case bc i also cant stop thinking about donkey kong in general and its fun and im getting a lot out of it

Going to be typical and suggest Bug Fables. It’s a cute RPG in the style of Paper Mario, where you play as a group of bug explorers.

Mario Odyssey is charming and so satisfying to play, I definitely recommend it to Switch owners!
Okami HD is nice too, if you haven't played it already. Fun little Zelda-style adventure with a gorgeous art style.
If you like RPGs, the Xenoblade games (action RPGs) and Fire Emblem: 3 Houses (tactical RPG) are excellent choices. There's hundreds of hours of content there if they click with you. Ni No Kuni and Tales of Vesperia are on sale in some places right now, they might be worth checking out! Dragon Quest XI is great too, it's an excellent turn-based RPG and the Switch version is solid.
Monster Hunter: Rise just released, if hacking and slashing big bad beasties is your thing. It offers solid online and single player options!
I recommend watching gameplay trailers if any of these options catch your eye! Some games have a demo, I believe Monster Hunter still does and possible Tales? Regardless, I hope you find something that you enjoy!

i gotta say pokemon mystery dungeon dx!! i loved it so much i played it twice last year, very good game :] 60 dollars though, which kinda sucks
also seconding bug fables!! i've only played the first couple chapters of it but it's very nice! i really gotta finish it lol
The new remaster of the original Xenoblade Chronicles for sure. It has a an excellent story, doesn't pull it's punches where emotions are concerned and the varied environments are gorgeous.
It's a game praised as a real gem and loved by most who play it. If you enjoy BotW there's a good chance you'll like it.
