i got my very own kitten and lemme tell ya im exited

dont let these pictures fool you hes just as wild and crazy as you would expect
his name is cicero and hes a lil under 2 months old and i love him with all my heart. even if he is a lil butt who attacks literally everything when hes in a playful mood, moving or not. he is super friendly and cuddly and if youre gone for more than like 10 minutes he will run up and yell at you when you come back. he greatly enjoys being tall and will frequently crawl onto shoulders/the backs of chairs to be as tall as possible. he has what we call 'angry kitty mode' which is when hes SUPER playful and will literally bounce around back and forth as he attacks something. hes not a shining example of grace, and while hes very careful not to hurt you when playing, i have many many scratches from him falling off of things and trying to grab me. not afraid of new people in the slightest and WILL try to climb you like a tree after five minutes.
im so incredibly excited because my family hasnt had an actual, free roaming pet since i was like, 5. i was incredibly allergic to cats, and we couldnt have dogs bc of various life limitations which also limited a lot of other options, so the most i had was fish and hamsters (which are adorable but just, yknow, its different). ive been away from home for a few years and during that time lived with a roommate who had three cats, and it was hell at first but gradually i got used to cats and wasnt deathly allergic anymore. i had to move home for various reasons, and i have wanted a cat of my own for YEARS, so my father as the gracious being he is got me one for my birthday :,) hes technically mine, though my dad spends just as much time with him lmao.
