Ok I just went thru about 5-6 forum pages n I haven't seen Any ones about Ace Attorney so! HEYY where are all my aa fans at ??

Just to get the ball rolling in this thread ... Who's your favorite character? Favorite game? Least favorite case?? (bonus points if it's not Turnabout Bigtop)

For me...

• Simon Blackquill is my Absolute favorite character but Phoenix n Apollo are close behind him for mainline characters .. Sebastian + Lang are my fav Investigation characters n Sherlock is my fav from DGS
• Apollo Justice or the DGS duology takes the cake imho but I have a soft spot for Dual Destinies .... it had So much potential :(
• Honestly... I hated Recipe for Turnabout. So many of the witnesses were annoying but I Did like Furio n I think he's the only thing really going for that case

I've been meaning to replay these recently. I think it's been long enough that I won't remember the cases offhand. I have the first 5 on DS! I love the voice commands.

Ace Attorney? Haven’t heard that name in years. It used to be one of my major special interests way back when the first trilogy was first localized in English and available on the Nintendo DS. I lost interest in it shortly after the first Apollo Justice game was released and although I’m aware of the newer titles in the franchise, I don’t really have a desire to play them.

I think I’m always going to be salty about the fact that my OTP never became canon. (Hint: it’s not Phoenix/Edgeworth, but it does involve Phoenix…)

(points rapidly to my username) yeah you might say i like ace attorney a normal amount. especially the spinoffs. ive played every game in the series so far and this game has been my constant interest for like... a year and a half now?

fav character is without a doubt Asougi. he just makes me go wild i don't know. i also love Edgeworth, Apollo, Kay, and Ryuu :)
fav game is either aa3, aai2, or dgs2. all three were (mostly) great storyline ending games and were also just really solid in general

I was.. literally just about to go and play that before I saw this thread. What a coincidence! Currently I'm only on the second game (Justice for All, second case. Forgot the name but it's the one where Maya gets accused again and oop we got some ghosts now). My brother and I decided to try and get through every game in the series by solving all the cases together. We're both good with mysteries (especially murder) so it isn't too difficult. Also I might've watched the anime.. so I try not to help too much since I remember a lot of the cases. So anyways.. My favorite character is probably Maya Fey. Anything with heavy story involved needs a good amount of comedy or it ain't worth it, and Maya is probably the funniest character. Yes, even funnier than Butz or [s]Oldhag[/s] Oldbag. Don't have a favorite game yet. I don't want to judge based on the actual game yet since I've only fully gotten through one of them, and going off of the anime (which covers the first three) they're about equal. And I don't know diddily-squat about any of the other games. Least favorite case? Probably Turnabout Samurai. I don't really dislike any of the cases, but I kinda found that one boring. Update: Completed the first trilogy. oooh yay! I've just recently started getting into the Ace Attorney games, as my girlfriend and I are playing through the original trilogy together (it's a replay for her though haha). I know a little bit about the games beyond that, mostly just generally the character concepts and a couple of major plot beats/spoilers lol

My favorite character so far...I think it's gotta be Franziska. I just love mean ladies and I love sympathetic and sometimes over-the-top antagonists (especially if they get unwillingly dragged into helping the protags somehow). I love most, if not all of the main cast though, and am way invested in Phoenix and Edgeworth's marriage dramatic dynamic.

I'm only a little ways into the third game but I think Trials and Tribulations might be shaping up to be a favorite? We're in the midst of the Mask*DeMasque trial and I'm having a lot of fun! Ron and Dessie Delite my beloveds...

As for cases, I don't know if I have a least favorite one just yet! all of the cases so far have been pretty fun. that being said, having to deal with the Hotti Clinic in a couple cases in the second game......not great

Ahh, Ace Attorney! I've been A really big fan ever since I first got a 3ds and randomly played the Dual Destinies demo!

• If I had to pick a favourite character it would definitely be Gumshoe. He's just this kind but bumbling detective who means well, pal! For Investigations I think Raymond Shields is my favourite, and his theme's a bop, and for DGS, yeah I gotta pick my man Sherlock Holmes Herlock Sholmes
• It's probably recency bias, but right now my favourite game is DGS, All the new stuff in it like the deductions and the final argument were great, and Whenever a game lets you look closely at all the evidence I love it. (Also as a Sherlock fan I liked the small references and stuff)
• Least favourite case is definitely Turnabout Storyteller from Spirit of Justice. People call bigtop a filler case but this one is the biggest filler case I have ever seen. It has no investigation segment, its just a 1 day trial. I did find myself enjoying parts of it, but it felt like it was just put in there so Athena had something to do
