I think my funniest one is the RE: 8 playthrough because horror games aren't super comforting but the way Charlie plays it makes me really happy and always makes me feel better

mario all the frickin way , and especially any specific particlular game or subseries of mario
lately these have been donkey kong (the series), mario sunshine but mostly just the world and npcs because the game itself is still frustrating to play, and mario + rabbids!!!

Probably sounds weird but Dark Souls / Bloodborne has a really comforting effect on me. That lovely, melancholic world feels weirdly like home.

Animal Crossing was a big comfort media for me but lately I've kinda grown stale on it.

Pokemon is always a big comfort, those games have gotten me through some of my loneliest times.

I also find watching Philza Minecraft comforting, I just find him to be really pleasant!

Most Nintendo games and the anime Free!

Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing are just such comforting video games, especially the cute villagers and music that comes in New Horizons.

Spongebob Squarepants, Sonic the Hedgehog and Insaniquarium.
I don't always play Insaniquarium but I'm always thinking about it and that counts for something!

Pokemon and We Bare Bears are probably my biggest ones--Pokemon has been one of the few constants in my life and has gotten me through a lot of really rough times, and We Bare Bears is just... such a sweet, pleasant show.
