I swear, I go on forums and look for something to reply on, out of pure desperation to be social, but then every time I go on a forum I get scared to mess up..and go on to the next forum. Anyone do that? QwQ

Yep! Although while it's easier for me to post in forums, I've found it hard to actually get to know anyone or become friends. No one's fault though, I am just very exhausted a lot of the time.

I don't get it so much on FR forums, but certainly other forums that can lean slightly into "cutthroat" territory.
FR forums are generally friendly (though I have never set foot into the Suggestions forum...) and as a fellow sufferer of anxiety, we lose out on so much by being stuck in our heads. We know what we want to say and what we mean when we do say something - if someone takes that the wrong way, that's not our fault.

My head is going "You're talking too much, shut up"
So despite me talking, some part of me is terrified I'm replying way too much.
"Overstepping my bounds" kinda thing.

All the time! I often find threads that I'm really vibing with and I even type up a reply, but then I second guess myself and delete it because I'm worried about messing up.
