I've been on a bunch of different pet sims over the years. I remember this one particular site that was a lot like Furry Paws but the layout was different and there was a sister site that covered horses. (No it wasn't howrse) There was breeding and show competing.
I remember it was a lot more text than image heavy compared to say FR or Neopets. This was late 2000s so the site might have died off, I'm thinking 2007 - 2010 ish? Does anyone have any idea?

was it showdogs? i was a showcats kid myself so i don't remember a lot about showdogs, but it was the sister site. dog breeding and competitions, and if it was anything like showcats it was definitely text-heavy.

Again very similar to Alacrity but that wasnt it :( it was a more white/blue themed website. I found it when I was really young by just repeatedly searching for virtual dog/pet games. I'm thinking I either dreamt it or its long dead :(

“white/blue themed” reminded me of Dog Dayzzz(? not sure if there were multiple Zs), although I don’t think that was particularly text-based and didn’t have a horse sister game either. Hmmm.
I hopped around dog petsites a lot around that time too, but I’m having a heck of a time thinking of one that fits all the criteria >:Vc

i unfortunately can only think of foopets and petz games x_x the only blue/white themed pet site i played on was aywas and that was fantasy creature-focused so definitely not your card. i hope you find it! i have been struggling with finding the old dead pet sites i used to play on myself. you might have some luck googling around and possibly even looking at

Was it Best in Show? I'm not able to get on the website, not sure if the servers are down or the site no longer exists. There is a facebook page for it and the last post on it was from 2016
