So this series, or at least its first season, just came out the other day. Soooo...who else has seen it? What did you think? [s]Does anyone else have The Nowhere King playing on repeat in their head?[/s] On a scale of 1 to Durpleton realizing his farts can now talk to him, how hyped are you for the next season? And for those who've not seen this beauty of a series, let me explain something. This is the show in the first 30 seconds. And this is the show within the first five minutes. Because Durpleton makes everything better.

The contrast between the more cartoony characters and the realistic horse is a bit jarring hahaha. But I may give it a watch now that you've brought it to my attention!
Huh, count me interested in the series. Because that is kinda starting to sound like xenofiction and I love me some xenofiction. Also, wacky giraffe man. Good design. I must know more about him.

I’ve watched the first episode! I really like it so far, I’m always in need of some lighthearted cartoons so play. I’m looking forward to seeing if/how/when they deal with some of the more serious plot hooks I can already see forming!

I'm going to avoid spoilers but ye gods episode 8 gets dark). For the most part though, it's a cartoon about love, friendship, and the importance of letting yourself have a good ugly cry every now and then.

I'll give it a try. I'm not too fond of the artstyle (aside from the horse) but I'm not about to judge a book by its cover.

Edit; Watched the first season and honestly? Not bad. I liked the hippo shaman's first song and episode 8 was great. I struggled to get through the first few episodes but I'm quite interested in the Nowhere King's relationship with that old lady and the backstory as to how he became that monster.

The first episode was put on youtube for free for a bit so I just got a taste :pensive: Deffo want to watch more though, I had no idea what was happening at any given moment in the show but sometimes I want that kind of show. Also giraffe man is PEAK centaur design I love him

Like, it's a character stumbling into an unusual world unlike anything else they've been in and struggling to adapt. It's initially quite goofy but picks up a strange and unusual fantasy plot that does get quite dark at times but never loses sight of its original messages about love and family.
