p much what it says on the tin - add in the thread what movie you last watched, and feel free to put your thoughts about it as well!!

I actually did a double feature yesterday, and saw The Green Knight and then Everybody's Talking About Jamie basically back to back in a local theater. two totally unrelated movies, but I rather liked both of them. The Green Knight was beautiful but sinister and a little confusing. parts of it went over my head, I think, but I really like weird fantasy movies and weird it indeed was! I will have to rewatch it.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie was a delight! a very sweet musical movie about a boy from Sheffield who wants to be a drag queen. had a lot of fun watching it, and really enjoyed the music. I would be interested in one day seeing the original stage musical!

Well, technically, I was watching John Dies at the End and made it pretty far in before the electricity cut off thanks to Hurricane Ida. Days later, I still haven't finished it, but it's not too big a deal since I've read the book.

Night House.

It was legit one of the scariest movies I've watched in a while. I love that it didn't had that kind of "in the face" kind of scare like jumpscares or a monster killing, just the atmosphere of unknown and isolation was creepy enough

...and also those moments when you have no idea if the chair with pile of clothes in your room is really a chair or did it just moved?

Last two movies I watched were The Truman Show and Digimon: The Movie.

I watched The Truman Show on Youtube because it was free. I heard about it being a good watch, so I decided why not give it a watch. Hooo boy, that movie stressed me out. It’s a good film, it’s just the premise really messed with me.

Now Digimon: The Movie might be slightly notorious for the way it chopped up and stitched together several other Digimon films together, but I can’t help but love it. I grew up with it on DvD, and the scene where Omnimon first appears still gives me goosebumps. (I also think the cheesy American music Fox added gives it a sort of charm. Hell, “All Star” plays at one point and it’s freaking hilarious!)

Sheesh, I haven't watched a movie since this whole COVID-19 fiasco. I believe it was... #Alive? Typical zombie movie that was quite enjoyable, to be frank. The one thing I didn't like was the horrid english dub, but it had a nice, refreshing ending that differed from the 'important character dies at the end or everyone dies or they survive and blah blah wilderness post apocalyptic'.

Definitely would watch if you're into that genre.

It was fast and furious 9 - me and my bf watched it bc it’s unironically funny once you just accept that it’s pure trashiness and that everything about it is so bad that it becomes so good

malignant! it's james wan's new horror movie, he's the guy who did saw and i think the conjuring. it was awful and i LOVED it. some of the worst ever writing i've ever seen but the camerawork was decent and i loved the practical effects. again, it sucked, and i can't recommend it to anyone in good conscience but i loved it

The last move i watched was "Dinocroc vs Supergator"... no i'm not joking, yes it was bad. Oddly enough it wasn't as bad as i expected it would be, it wasn't good by any means but i have seen far worse ("Jurassic Shark" ehmmm).

Yes, I like watching bad moves and laughing at them xD

The last movie I remember watching was.. Jungle Cruise? It wasn't bad. Got an explicitly LGBT character in it that I wasn't expecting. The body horror was pretty good, but the action scenes were a little cluttered and hard to follow.
