Just… characters that make you happy! What characters do you turn to when you need a smile, or a laugh, or wish you had around to make you feel better?
One of mine personally is Wheatley from Portal 2. Despite how everything goes, he was just such a genuine and friendly character at the start, and his anxious rambling always makes me smile. I forgive him and I want him back, Valve :(

I have a bunch of comfort characters that I find comforting in different ways, but my number one comfort character is Ash Ketchum from Pokemon! He's so warm and brave and kind, my absolute favorite type of person to be around, and the kind of person I aspire to be. And since I grew up watching Pokemon, he's been one of the very few constants in my sometimes very turbulent life and there's something deeply comforting about that. Love that kid.
