I've seen a question asking if tomatoes are a fruit and ketchup is 20% sugar, that makes ketchup a soda. But I think soda has to be carbonated - and smoothies, as someone mentioned, have to contain a frozen ingredient.

So you would have to puree the tomato with milk, yogurt, or ice cream (none of which are in ketchup - only water and vinegar) for it to be a smoothie.
But a cold, creamy tomato soup would be a smoothie. :Vc

Does the presence of onion powder and salt in the ketchup void it from smoothie status? Or would it then count as a health smoothie?
I would also say that since ketchup is traditionally served as a sauce and not drunk as a beverage its cultural status is not that of a smoothie.
