I’m curious to see what people are going it vote for in the Minecraft mob vote. Because some of the mobs look pretty cool. Personality, I’m between the Ally and Copper Golem.
Here’s the list of mobs in the mob vote:
The Copper Golem: it’s basically a tiny version of the iron golem with a lightning rod on its head and it’s about 1 block tall. It likes to randomly press copper buttons(which will be added), so it is perfect for redstone contraptions. The only downside is that it oxidizes over time and it will stop working after it completely oxidizes.
The Ally: it looks like a friendlier version of the Vex, if you give it an item, it will look and gather the same items, and like the parrot, it likes music! But the downside is that it only collects items if they are on the ground, not in a chest.
The Glare: its is a floating bush with eyes pretty much. All it does is see if its dark enough for mobs to spawn. The downside is that all they do.

I'm honestly not sure which one I would prefer. Allays would be pretty annoying/funny in server situations. If you're mining with a friend and mining coal for example, and you instruct the Allay to pick up coal, it would also pick up all your friend's coal if they were nearby.
I'm not sure about the copper golem; I don't like that it eventually stops working, and I also don't really know what it would be used for - but I don't know much about redstone, so there is that. Perhaps someone who knows a lot about redstone would know more about how useful the copper golem would be.
The Glare is pretty cute, but I think players can tell enough on their own if it's dark enough for mobs to spawn. I don't think the Glare would have much of an impact on the game.
I don't think I'll be voting because I can't decide. [emoji=coatl tongue size=1]

I like watching a couple of Minecraft YouTubers sometimes, such as DanTDM, Dream, and general building and design videos, so it doesn't seem like I'd be welcome to post there.)

I surely would love to get Glare, as I need someone to help me out with the too dark places. I usually put either not enough light sources or too many which makes it look bad. Plus I love how the mob looks.
My second vote would be Ally, as I'm really curious about how it works. Plus one more mob that enjoys music.
Tho even if Golem wins, I wouldn't mind. I would have a new decorative block to use lol

I'm voting Glare, definitely! My votes tend to always be about looks and out of the three, I just like Glare the best. It wont be very useful to me aside from being a cute mob to have around, but neither will the other two.
I'm on the fence about Allay, and I expect it to win the vote. But I am not at all keen on the golem. I'm all about redstone n all but there are so many more efficient ways to press buttons - and the guy isn't even a permanent button presser.
So yeah, holding out for Glare so my hunger for a plant mob can finally be fulfilled after the loss of the moobloom.
(Also posting in this thread because I don't think the other one and my youtube recommendations will get along ^^")

I think my preference would go Glare (I think it's cute and it might make lighting areas less stressful/wasteful), Allay (don't see a purpose but it could be cool on multiplayer or just fun to mess around with in creative), then Copper Golem (just not all that interested haha though I wouldn't complain). ....Though I honestly have mixed feelings about having a mob vote at all, especially with more than two options - I don't know if they've ever said anything about the losers and I understand "all three" would be more work, but...

since they’re all utility based it’s really hard to decide on one, allay and copper golem are so cute though, i want ten of each running in my house

The way that you describe the copper golem makes it seem really cool imagine the amount of destruction tnt cannons will be able to do while you're building more so I'm probably going to vote them.
Looks like the Allay won! I'm sure it will be implemented in a really interesting way. Also, apparently we're getting frogs and new kinds of swamps now? That's going to be super cool.
