Anyone else here fascinated by extreme weather? I've always felt this kind of morbid excitement every time we get a severe storm or tornado warning in my area, and kinda thought that was weird, but apparently it's more common than I realized. I love learning about the science behind this stuff too. Maybe it's how powerful storms are too, like it shows just how immensely powerful nature can be, and it's kinda humbling and fascinating to witness in my opinion. Heck, maybe that's a part of the reason i joined Lightning flight

yes! i always felt like it was weird i was like this too. i find storms and extreme weather fascinating. i oddly feel very comfortable and calm during tornados, or harsh rain, black outs. i enjoy it.

Yes, absolutely. My mood improves a lot whenever there are thunderstorms and/or very strong winds. It reminds me how powerful nature is and how insignificant I am, which for some reason makes me feel extremely happy.
One of my best memories is standing on a cliff with really strong sea waves crashing against the rocks and leaving me soaking wet. It was kinda dangerous but I felt so, so alive.
I just love witnessing nature's strength.

I can remember a few of the times my family and I had to stay in the basement because of a severe weather alert. My town hasn't been hit by a hurricane/tornado for a while now, so I was never concerned. I was always interested and a storm that was powerful enough to make us hind like mice.
I also think better during storms. It's an odd kind of background thing, especially when rain is involved. I have created some of my favorite characters thanks to the influence of the rain and wind.

yeah!! we've had like 3 tornadoes in 2 months and that was really interesting to me, especially because that's the first ever time i've seen tornadoes in our state
