I'm still living with my parents, but this year I decided to back my planning and words with a real in-ground vegetable garden. I have many staple vegetables but also a few exotics/heirlooms as well.

[b]Rotten store potatoes -- Recycled into potato plants[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/BNl2ji7.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/BCgCplp.jpg[/img] Very easy to do, just cut them into pieces and plant them in compost bin They dig out easily to be planted

The feline harvest has been bountiful as well I see.

This is really cool. I can't do too much of this where I live right now, but I really love watching it (if you can't tell, I like plants) c: Do you mind if I follow the progress? I'd love to hear about it.

[b]First Bean Trellis:[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/xyMonvu.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/T6MpObh.jpg[/img] This area of soil is a bit dry and dusty. I've buried these plants with in-ground soil, interplanted with chunks of compost (worms, decaying organic matter). This is for [b]Rockwell Beans[/b]!

[b]Second Bean Trellis:[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/z7EUHeH.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/L8RiQmN.jpg[/img] This trellis is about eleven feet tall. There are bean sprouts planted around it, but I also planted more seeds too. This is for [b]Native Ancestral Pueblo Beans[/b]!

I'm doing tepary beans this year! Or I will when the community garden's water's turned back on, hah. Love seeing homesteading, and I'd love to be on the pinglist if you're making one!
