Hilarious pokemon emulator things | General Discussion

I've been wanting to play more pokemon games and I've wanted to try out emulators so I'm playing alpha sapphire for the first time! I had to download two different emulators before checking for one that specifically runs 3ds games (I may be stupid >_>) but I eventually found [url=https://citra-emu.org/]Citra[/url] and it works pretty well... mostly [img]https://i.imgur.com/b5WLjWQ.png[/img] According to the emulator's website this isn't my copy of the game at fault either, this is just the best Citra can do with it, and it's honestly adding so much to the experience. [img]https://i.imgur.com/QP7ONrg.png[/img] The most obvious bugs are the human models- often they'll be sitting in midair or their arm is stuck in the wrong position, and my trainer will often clip into themself [img]https://i.imgur.com/pmXJECT.png[/img] All pokemon models start glitching violently when on low health as well, and some of them are stuck in the wrong position (eg my lotad having her lillypad on upside down and permanently being stuck in the floor) I don't have an image rn but all the Poochyenas look really depressed also [img]https://i.imgur.com/qYCMX2O.png[/img] I'll upload the best clips [url=https://imgur.com/a/zCs5b2f]here[/url] cuz I have no idea how to make gifs that can show up in forums, have a look at this chaos if you'd like! [i]Edit:[/i] I should also mention I'm running the emulator on an M1 mac which the devs have stated is not a machine Citra is built for! (I was surprised I got it to run so well with very little hassle- besides my own inexperience haha) So there's quite possibly some extra bugs and glitches going on from that ^ ^'

Oh wow xD i mean that looks incredibly entertaining at least!
I feel really bad for that npc's legs after that workout keeping them like that >>;

This is about the experience i remember for a few of the emulated games
Even the emulator on our old DS at home struggles to run some older pokemon games like black/white or heart gold to be fair and its not running a newer(ish) game like alpha sapphire

But i cant remember which emulator i was using, it was probably citra as well though there arent that many ds/3ds emulators!

The rom I have of SoulSilver is...not the greatest. The screen starts to go black after a while, so unfortunately I can't play it too much. I'm not sure what went wrong there. I'm not too far into the game, so I can just find another rom if I decide I do want to play through it.
