you ever listen to music from games you dont play? it feels so weird actually liking stuff from other games lol im never interested in many things but recently im finding a few songs that are pretty cool

and i always end up finding them from WoW videos

All of Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance's ost; I love the game but haven't managed to actually play it yet

technically I'm cheating bc I used to play this game a bit, but no longer
Ilka's Theme from Cytus II
it's just... really good...
that game (although I only played it for like a week, and that was because of the music) has some good character themes like here

Undertale?

ive done that a good few times mostly with mario music. a lot of it was from games ive never actually played. before this also happened with pokemon and kirby music and a couple other tracks from some other games

ive not listened to that in a while though. the songs that get stuck in my head now and i actually listen to ARE from games i have played

Discovering a game through its soundtrack is something I do quite often actually! Some stay on the "just listening" list because either the platform the game is available on isn't my preferred way to play or the game genre isn't my style. Some I do plan on playing eventually but just haven't gotten around to it yet...

Here are a few in particular:

I don't play games at all, but some of the soundtracks are amazing.

All the Elder Scrolls ones. God of War. A bunch of the Assassin's Creed ones. NieR Automata. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Diablo. Warframe. The For Honor ones. Dragon Age: Inquisition. Mass Effect: Andromeda. Lots more.

The Caravan Bowser remix is amazing but Mario games are not for me.

The Ace Combat and Armored Core games have some fantastic songs in them.
