heya folks! i wanted to start this to see whos a fan of WTNV on here
feel free to discuss theories, headcanons, basically whatever* in this thread!

for those who do not know what WTNV is:
Welcome to Night Vale is a podcast (free to listen to
here) that updates twice monthly. it is about a small, desert town named Night Vale and the strange going-ons there. it is in the style of a late night radio show, which includes new reports, local weather, cultural events and more.
it can get a very wacky and silly, and can have a few spooky moments.
i recommend giving the first episode a listen, my summery of the show does not do it justice.

i've been wondering what this is thanks to tumblr (and i have been too lazy to google) so i'm really glad i found this thread haha
at first i thought it was an anime or something?? since that seems to be flooding tumblr but i'm really glad it's a podcast!! i used to listen to them and then just kinda stopped

iiiiim actually only on #15 i have yet to encounter the terrifying desert bluffs but all of the fanart ive seen of kevin is truly terrifying holy-
ahhh tho cecil and carlos more like the most perfect
imagine carlos with a really cute beard and cecil will just give him lil beard scritches and whenever he does carlos just melts ahh precious

an anime tho omg that would be kinda neat!!!! it probably wouldnt be the same though, since the show is just cecil talking, describing the things that happen in night vale and practically painting images in your mind!! his voice is crucial an anime or live action or any other form of visual media would be cool, but it just wont be the same i think uou
also think of all the headcanon for their character designs you can make up! *U* thats one of my fave parts about the fandom ahh

I keep trying to get my friends to sit down and listen to some
Night Vale, but most of them work even more hours a week than I do. Alas, my city has not made listening mandatory yet.
I think my favorite singular bit of creativity that's come out of the whole Tumblrsplosion has been a crossover with Marvel's
The Avengers movieverse, called
The Job Fair. It makes me happy in a silly way.
But I do also love the sheer number of different version of Carlos and Cecil that people have drawn. Some favorites
