So the past few months have been hard on me, my dog, and just life in general. But through everything, I've become a stronger person, better than the person I was six months ago, more mature, and healthier (well, as healthy as I can be) but the one who's never left my side no matter what happened to me, no matter what shape I was in, the one who was always by my side, like Robin is to Batman, was my little man, my accomplice, my best friend; Radke. They say dogs can understand human motions, now until I can be proved wrong by science I believe this. The nights when I would cry myself to sleep he was there, the times I felt like having a relapse, he'd jump on my chest and nibble at my face, the times I felt like giving in he'd growl then proceed to lick me until I laughed.
This dog, has saved my life. Many times over. I owe everything I am and have to him, though he may not listen 110%, but he's always there. He's my agility dog, my conformation dog, my life, and happiness all bottled into forty pounds of solid cardigan welsh corgi.
I couldn't have asked for a better dog, I couldn't have asked for a better friend.
I truly am blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful friend in my life, here's to many more years with this amazing dog, many more ups & downs, many more adventures that will get us into trouble, many more trials, and hardships, many more of whatever we have to face. We will do it together like we've always have.

Im so happy for you and your dog!!!!
My previos dog I had was the dog of my dreams to but I didint notice it befor she died. She was a siberian husky and was my best friend she would always greet me when I got home from school and every night she would sleep in my bed next to me so I was never alone. But one day when I was going to walk her I had my "friend" whit me and all went wrong.
I was trying to tie her leash to my bike (She use to pull me on my bike) but befor I could tie the leash to the bike she started pulling real hard so it was hard to attach the leash to the bike then out of no where my "friend" started laughing and after a couple of minutes I asked her: "Why do you laugh?"
and she answerd: "Choko (The dog) is trying to bite of the leash."
Then I just felt a little pull in the leash and she was free.
The first thing that we did was to go to my best friends house for help then whe just hear a big boom and a really painful scream, so we rush to the place where we heard the scream and there she was lying in the ditch...
She wasint dead so the man that had runned over her putt her in the car and we went to my place.
When we arrived at my home I got to borrow a phone to call my mom. It took her half an hour to come home and then she tried to call the vet for over an hour but when they picked up the phone she was already laying dead on the kitchen floor...
She was born 18/2/11 and died 22/8/12 so she was only 1 ½ years old.
Now we have a new dog called Rocco he is finish lapphund, swedish elk hound and samoyed. His not the same thing at all and he will never replace choko but I love him anyway and he trys his best so I cant be mad at him.
(Sorry if there is bad english in this i live in sweden so my english is not that good)

I can't share a story about a dog since I've never owned one myself, but I can share one from my girlfriend. Growing up, she had a husky named Max. He was apparently the sweetest thing, and the two were best friends. He died long before I met her, but she does think highly of him, and he was an old dog and passed away at 16. Her family still carries on his legacy though since they have one of his sons, and she also has another dog, a red merle Australian shepherd whom she loves just as much, but is not a replacement.

Sweet story, and I wish the best for both you and your dog.
My own dog has such a similar bond to me, and is the most human-like dog I've ever met. She's also the hungriest. She refuses to eat her dog food until she's absolutely starving, but scraps that fall from the dinner table are quickly slurped up. She always waits under you while you're eating, not begging, but just stealthily waiting there for something to spill. XD She's so funny and I love her to pieces.
