You can get food by collecting it in the gather items tab, once you are done these items will be in your hoard. Use the drop down arrows to select the amount you wish to convert, check the box, and then select convert in the bottom right corner.

gathering every day! There are four skills for getting food and depending on what your dragons eat (some dragons only eat one or two types of food) you will either want to Hunt for meat, Forage for plants, Fish for seafood, or Catch insects. You can change which Flight territory you gather in by using the dropdown menu below each skill, some areas give different items!
You can also get food in the Coliseum from defeating enemies, or you may get a food item from
Pinkerton sometimes.
Don't forget to convert the food in your hoard by checking off the items you want and clicking 'Convert' at the bottom. This turns the items into food points which your dragons eat from!

Hello!
Possibly the most rewarding way of gathering food is through the coliseum, almost every battle will give you a food drop or a material drop. I would also look around in forums, or your flight forums to see if you have a food bank. I know Arcane has one, and my brother tells me Shadow has one, so I would check in plague :)
