and got a primal eye color off of it. I'm lost on how much the primal eye color might be worth in price, if anything, but also wondering about naming it before I put it up for auction. Normally I throw something on the dragon in case they get exalted, but would someone exalt primal light eyes? What is this dragon even worth, for that matter? I don't even know where to start with it.

youd be surprised at what people will exalt, id name. also search for light primal prices and then go a bit higher since they look xxx xxy? with gem genes

SailorGalaxia I'd name him, just in case he gets exalted. I don't think that makes him worth less. If you're worried maybe you can post him in the Dragons for Sale forum and ask that the buyer name him before he leaves your lair or offer to throw in a rename scroll.

Naming a dragon does not affect the price of the dragon in any way.
the fact that it is an imperial with primal, which cannot be breed-changed without a ridiculous amount of money, is what will give you most of the value.
Looking at the AH, Imperials with Primal are going for a minimum of about 100kt, your's being a double with good colors will definitely be worth more. I'd start it at about 1.5 million treasure (or gem equivalent) and decrease the price gradually if it doesn't sell.
