Heyy so there was this dragon I absolutely loved and after a friend and I went on a very long Hiatus, several dragons were gifted away with the question to be good taken care of, or given back if we ever were to want them back again.
Sadly said dragon got exalted by that person. Don't worry, I don't blame them for it, it's their choice in the end, but I would really, really want this dragon back. Is there still a possible way to make this possible??
It's really the only dragon I ever want back. I'm usually not too attached to the dragon that get exalted.

Thou'rt Ash, and fire befits thee, of course..."

Sadly, exalted dragons other than your original pair of progenitors will forever stay exalted- there’s no other way to get them back. If you want that dragon to “return to your lair”, I recommend going through the auction house and finding a dragon that looks like it. Won’t be the same, though.

StarGatherer you actually can unexalt non-progens, but only once every 90 days and only if you exalted them yourself. you can't recover dragons that were exalted by other people.

Welcome back! Like After said, we now have
Dragon Restoration! It's found under Support at the bottom of the sidebar, then Self-Service. You can un-exalt any one dragon you have exalted in the past 14 days, but there is a 90-day cooldown afterwards to prevent abuse of the system. After that, they're gone for good.
However, considering your hiatus, it's very likely that the 14-day window has long since passed. Even assuming that they were kept and exalted by the player you originally gifted them to, it would still be in poor taste to ask someone to un-exalt a dragon you had given to them. I suggest either buying a replacement, or starting a breeding project to re-create your own.
