In addition to the guide linked by Anourou, for levelling a team Sedona Guide (no elims) and Culex Guide (with elims), and Maki’s Guide for current lv25 builds
There's a lot of tips I could give I guess, are you looking for anything specific? ^ ^
In general: focus on one team and get a 2-dragon trainer first (and make sure you have the right element), after that you can train whatever other teams you need very fast. Eliminates are definitely worth the price. Find something to do while coling (podcasts, music, splitscreen movies etc) because it can get very boring. For making money, level fodder to 5-7 (never higher) and always send to the Dom raffles and Public Buys, and if you are farming for money Volcanic Vents is the best.
Coliseum loot and monsters is great if you are looking for something specific, and the text version also has the info on the food droprates.
