I have been working on a Lineage project since 2014; the goal was for my Legolas and Gimli dragons' offspring list to be made up of the lyrics for "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard". I have done really good about checking the names of the hatchlings for typos and so forth, but the inevitable has happened and I realized today that I am a verse off.

It's not as bad as it could be; I can change the names of the most recent batch of hatchlings, however there are 2 dragons in the lineage who have been incorrectly named AND have been exalted.

I don't know what to do about these 2 exalted dragons. If this was related to anything else I would accept it and move on, but I have been working on this project for 5 years and was very close (like 2 verses) away from completing it. I've been so careful; to have it end like this is kind of devastating.

I have been exalting the hatchlings myself once they reached adulthood in order to preserve the lineage/name scheme. I don't want these dragons back, I just want to change their names so they represent the correct lyrics. Is this something I can send a Help Ticket in for? If so, what would be the appropriate Category to have it listed under? Is there a different avenue that would be more appropriate for me to pursue? Have I just lost 5 years worth of effort? Please advise.

You can try asking the staff through contact us, but the only thing you can do yourself is to use the dragon restoration on one of them and change the name with a scroll of re-naming.

if the staff don't do anything then you're out of luck.

Oof, that sucks :/ For one of those two dragons, if they've been exalted within the past 14 days, you could restore it and rename it; that wouldn't work for both, though, as it's only 1 dragon every 90 days. I doubt it's something admins would be willing to change for you, but it wouldn't hurt to send a ticket to them explaining what you want. Since you aren't trying to get the dragons back or benefit/profit in any way from admin services beyond your own peace of mind, they may just do it. Probably the best category would be "Other".

@Anourou @Leopardmask I just checked and both dragons were exalted more than 14 days ago, so neither is eligible for self restore.
