There are two options for sending people money, via PM or one-way Crossroads trade. People with art shops will either post the art publicly in their thread and tag the person who purchased it, or PM them the URL of the art image, and the other person will send the money.
(Not necessarily in that order - a lot of artists take payment up-front.)
