I have had a very long, stressful couple of months and my memory banks have yeeted this information, so feel free to have a giggle at a player this old asking this, but:
Did they actually implement some method to change your dragon's dietary preferences in a recent-ish update, or am I mis-remembering that? And if they DID, how do I do it?

you can turn on selective feeding in your account settings, I believe it's near the bottom of that screen

Snowmeow Yes, they did! You can turn it on by going to your account settings (triangle by your user icon in the upper right), then scroll down and change the Feed Style toggle to Selective.

Yes! Go to your
Account Settings and choose "Selective" under Feed Style.
When you go back to your lair you'll be able to feed each food type separately so all dragons capable of eating each selected food will eat that. Go through for each food type you intend to feed. It's a great way to make your dragons eat their veggies!
