TOPIC | How to start selling skins and accents?
[center]Hello there! [emoji=familiar heart size=1] I'm a young artist and breeder on this game, and would like to start selling custom +pre-made accents and skins in a shop! This thread has some good advice on making an accent shop. Here's the big pinglist for when you want to ping people for preorder/sale. If you haven't made a skin/accent before, this post has links to advice on that.

I didn't find anything really brief, so here's advice I would give:
  1. Make an accent. Save as transparent .png 350x350.
  2. Create a thread. Create a document where you record a pinglist for people who want to see more of your accents in the future.
  3. Showcase the accent. Set a price.
  4. Open preorders. Ping GASP for the relevant keywords.
  5. Either request payment upfront, or ping buyers when 10 slots have been claimed.
  6. Use the preorder funds to purchase the blueprint and submit for approval.
  7. If the order is rejected, make the adjustments and resubmit.
  8. Once the order is delivered to you, then you deliver it to the buyers. A private auction for 1 treasure, or delivery via PM, works best

I would not advertise customs until you have a couple of examples to show.

Price-wise, you would need to charge a minimum of 250g/accent to break even on a 10-print run. 500g/accent is a fair price, but I would think about lowering that to 400g/accent if your quality or amount of detail is not where you want it to be, to attract more buyers who might otherwise save their gems for a fancier accent. Skins are more expensive, so I would advise starting with accents.

I hope some of this helps.
