This is very strange because it was working fine the other day, but I can't seem to solve Glimmer and Gloom puzzles any more?
I'm using the technique of clicking down and to the right to solve until the bottom row/edge, then putting the combo into a spreadsheet to see which rows and columns to click. I was doing this a few days ago with no issue, but now solving just gets me a pure shadow row along the bottom and right edge. Putting this in the spreadsheet gives no solution and I don't know what to do, what am I doing wrong?

Refreshed the page and got it working now but with no change in technique, is there such thing as an impossible starting board?

what is most likely happening is a miss click somewhere along the row or diagonal as you try to solve, try using the

A misclick wouldn't be surprising, my laptop mouse button is finicky, I just couldn't believe I did the technique three times with the same bad result! Thank you for the guide :)

That sounds to me like you may be entering your code backwards (1s instead of 0s and vice versa).

I think you're right! It started working again when I aimed to make it all shadow, I was adamant I was solving for light before but clearly misremembering and then entering the code wrong

That would do it. Which color is 0 depends on which one you are trying to win as, so if you change elements but don't flip your numbers too, you'll end up with the opposite of the solution.
