It depends what you're looking for. General venue farmers don't need any specific element. Water is good for Ghostlight fodder training, Arcane is good for Mire fodder training. I believe Fire and Nature are the best for Golem Workshop. Ice does decently in Kelp Beds.

Flight Rising isn't one-on-one battles like Pokemon so it's not like you can swap out a dragon for a better matchup, and all elements have the same number of weaknesses and strengths, so in most cases element doesn't matter.
I usually recommend Nature/Water, Arcane, and an element of your choice, since those first two elements do really well in the few instances where element matters most (training builds for the Ghostlight Ruins and Mire).

Also, this only applies to elemental damage (Slashes, Bolts, the elemental ultimates). Most melee attacks, like Scratch, Slash, and Eliminate, deal neutral damage.
