Hello!

I would like to paste a picture from google, into the information box of one of my dragons. Does anyone know how I can do this?
I'll be very thankful for any help with this^^!

@Kaminotea first you'll need to copy the image link. you can do this by right clicking/clicking and holding until a menu pops up, and then selecting something along the lines of 'copy image location' once you have that, you can either use the tree icon or manually type in the image tags to end up with something like this [code][img]image link that ends in a file extension[/img][/code] note that if the link doesn't end in a file extension such as .png or .gif or if it's hosted on certain sites like DA then it won't work properly on the forums

Thank you! I didn't get it to work right away because it didn't end in .png but I just tried to add it on there myself and then it worked xD
But the image is humongous, do you know if there is a way I can make it smaller?

you're not able to do that on site, but some image hosting sites and art programs allow you to resize stuff without losing too much quality

Alright, I couldn't quite figure that out hahah but I ended up finding a smaller picture on google to use. Thank you so much for your help^^!

Did you check the usage rights on the image you want to post?

Or maybe someone can clarify if copywritten material is allowed on Flight Rising? It might be perfectly ok but I've been to a lot of Digital Citizenship things lately so perhaps I'm just hyper sensitive.

The only thing I could find in the Terms of Use was this:

"By accessing or using Services, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws."

But I do know that the rest of the Terms of Use goes on to say in at least two paces that "The materials contained on Services are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law."

So it would seem that if FR protects its property, they would expect the property of others to be protected as well.

@Bantymom it seems that it was just an anime screenshot. flight rising has not banned putting anime screenshots on this site, and i highly doubt that anyone is going to sue anyone for having this anime screenshot on a dragon's profile.

As @Ralzakark said, I don't think anyone is going to care about one little screenshot. If anything, I'm advertising the anime which is probably a positive thing for the production team and author :p

It's all good. I was just wondering. If anime screenshots are the norm, then that's great.
