TOPIC | night of nocturne question
This will be my first non this year but I have a question. Will there be new familiars in the gem marketplace? Or is the only way to get non fams at baldwins and in the coli?

And one more question. How often do the gem marketplace fams change? I am saving up for the melprins currently but do know how long they will be around!

As far as I'm aware, Night of the Nocturne has never featured Gem Marketplace familiars. They're all distributed as Baldwin recipes or drops from the Strange Chest. There have been Gem Marketplace vistas, apparel, and apparel bundles, but no familiars.

The unofficial Flight Rising Wiki page for Night of the Nocturne includes all the items you can get and where, save for last year's additions in 2019. You can read that announcement here.

You can check out this section of the Encyclopedia (found under Library on the left sidebar) to see which items are currently cycling. The Melprins do not cycle out, so unless the staff announces their removal in the near future, you've got all the time in the world to save up.

EDITED TO ADD: besides the specific seasonal items, most cycling items have no set schedule at all. The staff can decide, seemingly at random, to cycle some items into the Marketplace for about 2 weeks, after which they disappear for a year or more.

You can also look up an item on the Flight Rising Wiki and check their cycling history, to give you an idea of how long you'll have to wait. If you want a Fox Rat, save up your Gems in advance!

If staff decides to cycle an item out of the Gem Marketplace, there is almost always several weeks of warning before that happens in order to allow people to buy gems save up or liquidate their hoard so they have the cash to buy it before it's gone. Limited release items as stated above are much quicker to cycle and have less warning.
