I just checked the game database. Apparently, NotN items/trinkets currently have a rare chance of dropping from gilded chests. That's new.
Second edit:
Maybe a bug? Since I've never seen 'random' in the drop chance. Could be that they're adding the NotN items in and some things got linked to the gilded chests by accident.
