@Vanitatum We had a look through some DV selling threads in the items for sale forum and it seems most people are using a 1:250 ratio, so 1 gem for 250 potatoes.

@Vanitatum We don't play DV so this is all based on us searching the items for sale forum for 'turnip'.
It seems that turnips can be bought at the same rate as gems, $1 = 100 gems/turnips. So from what we found most users trade at a 1:1 rate.
