Some particularly gross usernames aren't allowed, stuff like "pustule" and the like are not allowed either. I'm assuming because it goes against the rules of naming dragons stuff like "pee" etc since offal can be considered waste too.

I didn't figure it was a very gross name, but that's probably just because I'm used to that sort of stuff bc of how I grew up. Thank you for the response!! I'll keep that in mind. :]

It looks like it was a somewhat recent ban, as there are dragons named "Offal" who exist who were hatched in 2020. But I did test to make sure it wasn't a typo, and it is indeed not currently allowed. There are some names that are banned due to harassment from users. Some fodder names accidentally or intentionally equate exaltation to death, which is extremely upsetting to many players. There's a sequence where mass-exalters can get certain names banned by upsetting several users. Since "offal" specifically refers to the leftover waste of a butchered animal, it's safe to assume someone was using it as an exaltation fodder name and other players found the implications upsetting!
