Hello!
Apologies for the length of this.
So, I've been here for a while, but am just starting my second gene project ever lol. So, I don't know if this is just how it goes or what, but my idea was that (for example, my pair):
XXY and XXX
Only Y/tertiary color changes due to XX being the same on both parents, and the tert color goes within white-flaxen because of their colors. I'm trying to breed for purple or purple-blue ranges (hard to get because of white-flaxens vast expanse of colors rip)
However, with scries (in workshop), I'm getting things like Garnet and Pearl, which from what I've observed should be impossible? I'm not sure if I just have this wrong, or if it may on the very tiny chance be a bug?
Or, is it because the mother is the XXY that the colors are flipped to inverted grouping? Sorry if the answer is easy to find, I'm not the brightest haha
Thank you whoever responds! :)
