Would 11 gems get me any treasure?
I'm after 95K to get a present for a friend, but I'm having a hard time making that amount for treasure, I'm using my iPad and I can't use most everyday stuff like everyone else.

Not very much treasure unfortunately, the gem rate currently is around 1:520 I think? Which would be approximately 5720t.

I've checked your clan profile so I know you can't use the Coli or Fairgrounds right now but I have some suggestions to help:

a) Use Gather Items each day in HUNTING in FIRE. Fire has Duskrats worth approximately 750t each, White-Earred Hummingbirds worth roughly 2500t each, and once you've gone up some levels you might find some Onyx Cobras that are worth 10000t each.

b) Click your familiars each day, the chests dropped when a level is completed contains some treasure and check if your flight has a free familiar thread in the sales forum - pick up one of the ones you don't have if it does and click it daily too.

c) Get your item from Pinkerton every day if you can - if it is an Ambush, Eliminate or Rally battle stone, it can be sold for a lot of treasure. If it is a rare familiar e.g. a Coral Carpenter, this also applies.

d) Answer Tomo's ten questions each day if you can. Each one you get right is worth 300t.

e) If you have any nests of not-so-pretty dragon babies, sell the hatchlings for 8kt or lower in threads and people will buy them as exalt fodder.

I use the Coliseum and Fairgrounds on my iPad.

The trick for getting the Fairgrounds to work was simply to log in on a PC, go to the Fairgrounds, select the "do not show this warning again" option on the warning about games triggering epilepsy, and after that, you can use the Fairgrounds happily.

I don't recall having to do that separately for the Coliseum, but it's been a while, so I would check from a friend's or library computer. After that, it should run fine on iPad; they games are coded in HTML5, not Flash, so there's no reason they shouldn't run.
