Respect the Users
Please respect your fellow users. We don't want to see negative attitudes or people harassing others for any reason. This means that if you have been denied a sale, please don't continue to bother the buyer/seller, no one is obligated to complete a sale. Don't harass people over prices, they can set them at whatever they choose.

Respect the Tools
This would be the thread and the spreadsheet. Please do not ping people who have asked not to be pinged, do not spam the thread and keep all posts on topic and respectful. Please do not alter any information within the spreadsheet but your own. A lot of work went into it and we'd hate for it to be misused.

Trade Wisely
The Gem Exchange is not responsible for any trades gone wrong. We are only here to make buying and selling gems easier. We recommend that all sales be done through a 2-way crossroads in order to ensure safe trading. If you choose otherwise, you do so at your own risk.

Wise trading also includes fluctuating prices. If you happen to buy or sell gems to/from someone at a certain price but a better price becomes available, do not harass someone saying a sale was unfair or demand a refund. The sale was completed and you agreed to it.

Use it to its Fullest Potential
The exchange is here for your benefit, so please use it! As there is no gem selling/buying Auction House function, we hope that this will make your lives easier. Using the exchange gets rid of the need for keeping tons of threads that users have to upkeep, bump, close/delete, and constantly dig for. And instead, gathers everyone in one place for smoother trading.

Inputting Information
The forth page of the sheet titled "Input" is where you place your information
- Place your username in an empty row in either the buy or sell section, or both if you're a flipper.
- Place how many gems you are looking to buy/sell in the quantity column.
- Place how much treasure you are looking to gain/spend per gem in the Price column. Ex: 850.
- Place any extras in the notes column. Ex: "No need to ping. Just send a CR." or "Closed for the night"

Boom! All done. Easy right? You can ignore the rank bit, that's just part of how the sheet works. Once you no longer have any gems to buy/sell please make your amount and price blank so that you fall to the bottom of the sheet.

What the Sheet Does
It actually does quite a bit despite how simple it looks!

- Each page, both Buying and Selling are auto sorted so that the best value is placed directly at the top and scale down from there. So users can hop right into the tabs, check the listings, and see exactly which users have the best values at the time. In the Buying gems tabs, users willing to pay more treasure per gem are higher on the list, and in the Selling Gems tabs, users willing to sell for less are higher. Cool right?

- To make things even more streamlined, the top ten sales on each page are also featured on the first page of the spreadsheet for easy viewing, so you don't have to keep page hopping every time.

- An added feature of the Gem Exchange spreadsheet is that it automatically calculates the current going rate for gems. This is featured right on the first page of the sheet. This not only helps people see what gems are currently worth for buying and selling purposes, but can also be of use to as a whole. With one quick glance, you can see what the current gem market looks like.

- The sheet also has a timestamp feature that will automatically update every time a user changes the price or quantity of gems they are looking to sell/purchase. This will keep a more accurate gauge of which entries are the most current.

Hey! This is an awesome idea and I hope people get to using it, because I think it'll become very useful - but just so you know, currently if I try to type anything into the Input spreadsheet it says I don't have permission. I'm not sure what's up with that, but I figured you'd want to know.
