Glimmer and Gloom has been know to be the source of many people's money, it might be hard to get at first but if you find the right guide then it totally helps.
Also, vault a bit of money here and there, it really does stack up.

welcome!! I'd definitely recommend poking around your flight's forum for threads dedicated for new players- they can help a ton with food, information, and general suggestions for dominance (where you level dragons in the coliseum and get money from them!)

i know this is really late to the forum but i'd figure i'd stop by and say hello!! i really enjoy writing and reading lore and there are a lot of helpful places and templates that allow you and other members to handle it really well!
i personally don't have too much experience with fr myself as i joined in late September of 2019 but honestly... get in contact w/ friends on here, breed a bunch of dragons, stock up on food, and most importantly...
don't forget about ur dragons bcuz they will starve and when u come back it will be a pain in the butt to feed them
just kinda explore, get used to things, meet new people, don't be afraid to post on forums, etc... and if u have any question, feel free to branch out for answers, tips, and advice <33
