Here’s a few little miscellaneous tips that I wish I knew when off the bat ahaha
To add a dragon picture with a link, press the three dots and then the widget option and it’ll be copied to your clipboard!
And it should look like this!
To notify someone that you mentioned them in a forum (only works in forums) do @ whatever their name is, but no space (example: @
etherealhydra)
Raffles and giveaways forum topic is a lifesaver early game, as you can get a ton of free stuff or enter relatively cheap raffles!
For easy money making try the glimmer and gloom guides in the Guides forum topic, and you can earn up to 75kt (thousand is k, t is treasure) day in the fairgrounds! Or go to the trading post (shop>trading post) and bond with Fionas familiars for 15t per familiar! Crim’s collection cart is also helpful, but I’d recommend not selling her anything battle related as the Lowest Auction House price is way higher that whatever she’s offering. And Tomo gives 300t for every trivia question you get right! Most of it is knowing the lore on the website, but I believe I saw an answer sheet in guides ;)
Selling things on the auction house can also bring in a good amount of money if you’re willing to do some research! Say you have some
Salt, it only sells for 1g per piece, but if you melt it down at baldwins cauldron the worst item you can get from doing that is already worth twice as much! Find the lowest auction house price and base it somewhere around that and have the listing for a day, limited time makes people impulse buy! If it doesn’t sell you can always lower it but don’t go too much lower than the lowest price :))
Make sure whatever you’re melting isn’t more valuable than what you could get though. If you’re unsure try searching for it in the game database and clicking on the little money bag icon. If it’s for sale for over 10g or 10kt do not melt it!! You will most likely get something worth wayyy less! If you don’t want it you could always sell it, and if you’re unsure of it’s value you could ask people on the Help Center forum. The community here is awesome:D
